Group Lessons

PeeWee

This class is for boys and girls around 4 to 7 years who would like a fun physical activity that is easy to learn and will lead to a life time sport. We meet at the club at 4:00 PM on Saturdays. Call me or the club to register. Six students max.

JUNIOR BEGINNERS

This class is for boys and girls around 7 to 10 years old who have advanced past the PeeWee classes. We meet at the club at 3:00 PM on Saturdays. Call me or the club to register. Eight students max.

ADVANCED BEGINNERS

This class is by tryout or invitation for players who have proven skills that are advanced past the Junior beginner’s class. These players are eager to play, learn and compete.

Players who learn this set of skills will advance to the Junior Development Program. Class meets weekly at 2 PM on Saturdays.

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

This is for boys and girls, 18 and under, who are serious about learning to play the game, and how to compete with others at their level. There is no pressure to win but an opportunity to see what it takes to improve. We meet at the club on Fridays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for drills, fun, and games. Call me or the club to register. Eight students max.

USTA Jr. TEAM TENNIS

This USTA sponsored program is for boys and girls 18, 14, or 12 and under with beginning and intermediate skills who want to learn about tournament play. The emphasis is on experience and the path to improvement. There are 2 seasons per year. Call me or register at the club. We have openings in the Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank Division for all ages. Matches are played at Flint Canyon Tennis Club, Rose Bowl Tennis, and the Valley Hunt Club.
